About Me
I'm Forrest Radarian, and I live and work as a public school teacher at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.
I am passionate about:
Building a sense of knowledge of an area by means of human-powered travel is something that gives me meaning. I've built a strong love for the state of Arizona - a topophilia enriched by bikepacking and backpacking around this state.
I've made it a personal goal to journal more of my experiences/memories not only for myself but for my family, friends, and anyone else interested in learning about a given route. This is especially true as time moves forward and the sharp lines of experiences begin to blur; writing then becomes my attempt to maintain those details.
I am passionate about:
- Education and Teaching
- Biodiversity, Environmental Science, and Evolution
- Outdoor Adventuring.
